Muhahaha. Guess what? I sold the Canon XL1 I bought for $900 for $1300. Quite a decent profit there hehe. Now, I only owe about $1400 for the XL2. Woots. Could be worse. Thankfully, I've secured a couple of deals filming some wedding in May and a Samoan family gathering in June... Yes... Don't ask me why. I need the cash.

My childhood friend Fai Fai (Not his real name - I just call him that to piss 'em off) whom I've known since the age of 2 is here for the next couple of days with his mum. We used to be really close when we were young - He brought me to really cool things like private yacht parties, presidential suites in one of the resorts he owned in Bintan, and VIP tickets to the biannual Asian Aerospace where I got to sit a table away from PAP Ministers. Anyhow, its been really great meeting up with him though I must say he's mellowed down ALOT since his dad passed away last year. Its pretty sad - Alot of money but no father. I really pity the chap; so I gave him a free DVD of Countdown (: Okay fine... It was probably wasn't the best gift but I suppose its the best thing one can afford when you owe loan sharks US$1400.

Speaking of DVDs, I've sent back a couple so if you haven't received anything in your mail, take a shotgun/parang to your local post office and demand they give you back the DVD. Yes, I know Countdown is soooo damn good that even usually-honest postmen are tempted to steal them, but the DVDs are for YOU - Not Ahmed or Ah Pei who works overtime for Christmas. As there are simply too many DVDs to send from the States alone (82 to be precise), I also delegated the sending of several DVDs to people in Singapore. Unfortunately, they must be really *cough* busy *ahem* to send them out despite the fact that I sent it via USPS priority which reached them a week ago *cough*. I'm pretty sure these people have *valid* reasons for why they're sitting their asses on my money and not sending out the discs.

Anyway, that aside, I've been essentially spending the past few days gallivanting around California visiting San Diego and Big Bear Mountain with Fai Fai. So far, traveling about has been a pretty fun experience and I haven't been this stress-free in quite a long time. It's not that those places are particularly fun or anything; its just that unlike Singapore, when the school term here is over, it's OVER. Unlike TOK and EE essays you guys are probably rushing out now *sniggers*.

As Christmas draws around the corner I decided what better way to commemorate the festive spirit than with some Christmas-ey photos - Unedited and un-photoshopped unlike some photographers. So do enjoy the snow-capped, picturesque mountains of Big Bear and imagine yourself having a really white Christmas!

To be honest, I've never seen snow before - But when I did, the first thing that to my mind was...

More pics of San Diego coming up soon. Have an awesome and Blessed Christmas everyone! Cherish and enjoy the fellowship and time together with friends and family!
