Update 65-01
Update 65-01
Update of The Big Day
10th August 2006
3:29 PM

One more day to the shoot. The outcome of over two to three months of tireless planning and preperation will all boil down to how well the actual filming over the next 2 days goes. I seek everyones full cooperation and backing once filming starts. I warn you in advance that with so much going on simultaneously, I'll most probably be extremely short-fused, stressed out, and impatient. So please bear with me; and in anticipation of this, I'm sorry. Once the shoot starts, the shit hits the fan: We only have about 4 hours of real film time on Friday and 12 on Saturday.

The issue is alot of people cannot come back on Saturday so alot of stuff has to be done by tomorrow. Although it's going to be for the most part really rushed, intense, and stressful, I also anticipate that there'll be those of you who will feel left out and sian when your scene isn't being shot. While I hope to minimize such instances, I would like to again apologize before hand. I beg you to put up with it by doing your IOP, EE, or IA homework or playing cards. Unfortunately, we only have 3 cameras so we cannot do everyone's scene at the same time.

I hate repeating myself but please come to my classroom, 5.14, IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL (12:40 PM), for a short briefing. Following which, ya'll can go for a quick lunch before coming back to 5.14 where costume/boots/weapons/choreography assignment awaits. Traids please do not forget to bring a white collared long-sleeve shirt, black non-school blazer, black pants & formal shoes.

All cops, please wear your normal navy blue school pants. For all who have Oral, ab initio classes, or other obligations, please do try to go earlier or during the first slot available. We should be leaving around 3 PM in order to accomodate these individuals. A chartered bus will take us there. We should be done by 10 PM. The bus will send us back from the warehouse to school.

Thus, please tell your parents to pick you FROM SCHOOL by 11 PM; taking into account journey time from the warehouse. Thank you. Please also do not forget to bring lots of coins for canned drinks in case our store runs out. Again, for those of you who need to go to the location by yourself, please note the address: 34 Pioneer Sector 2 Salcon Building, GramhamTek Company

As you can see, there will be certain times where specific groups of people will not be involved in actual filming. For example when I'm filming the main actors/actress, all SWAT/Traid people will be involved in choreography of the fight. Please do cooperate with Jeff and whoever else coordianting the fight. It is essential that the fight scene be perfected and completely rehearsed multiple times before the camera comes down to the site. Do not underestimate these rehearsals. Sorry again if it gets sian at times. Anyhow, as I sit here storyboarding and preparing all the last minute issues, I cannot help but feel rather overwhelmed at the magnitude of tomorrow. Nevertheless, I know that whatever happens, I know I can count on ya'll to pull through with this project no matter what. Again I wanna thank all of you for your hardwork, perseverence, and patience over the past few months and hope that I will be able to garner this same support over the next two days.

See ya'll tomorrow at 5.14. BLT out.
