Update of Day 06-01

Went to visit the warehouse today. Its pretty great apart from the workers who will be a problem. Thus we decided that the filming dates will be 9TH AND 10TH NOVEMBER FROM 5PM TO 10PM. Most probably, we will hire a bus from school to take us there and back since its all the way in Tuas. Dinner will also be provided, I suppose. I wish we could film in the day but the personnel will be a huge pain in the ass. Ali, Ben soh, and myself worked out a better plot today. Its much shorter, less complicated, and more concise – Although it is not without its own set of problems.

Short Synopsis:

The movie starts off with Chan visiting a psychiatrist in a hospital – Telling him about his distress and pain at the recent failure of a SWAT mission. Flashback mode occurs as Chan recounts him and his SWAT team heading to a warehouse to track down a serial killer. In the warehouse, his team is eliminated in particularly gruesome, unique ways by the killer until he is the only one left. He finally finds the killer and fights – He eventually wins and escapes the warehouse; although he blacks out had has no recollection of how he leaves. It then occurs to him that the shrink is actually the serial killer all the while and was toying with him. They are actually both still inside a room within the warehouse. Chan attempts to escape but is killed by the mysterious killer.

Our problem rests with the psychiatrist and how well we can portray an actor that is as good as a shrink and a criminal. We don’t know whether we should just get a real old guy, have one of our own actors, or not show his face at all. We also have not choreographed the middle section or worked out the killer’s signature mark of death. Still have yet to think of a way to ‘Asian-ize’ the script and make it more local/reality based.

Meanwhile, Mdm. Dharma has yet to pass us the cheque and the people at school are becoming increasingly distant/detached from our filming process - In a bad, non-caring way.
